Hey folks,

So Noah and I are finally home! Wow, our trip has been so amazing right until the last moment. Our last week of first semester was spent in Banff Alberta where we had some free days to tour around town and also spent an afternoon enjoying the beauty of Lake Louis in Banff National Park. One of those days we also went skiing/snowboarding which was a great success except for one girl making a trip to the hospital. She had to get stitches and has a few bruises, but should make a full recovery! After our day of skiing and snowboarding our group went to a facility to relax in the hot water of an outdoor pool that is fed by natural hot springs.

At the end of the week our group said our goodbyes and split; some going to the airport in Calgary and some making their way back to Winnipeg. We will definitely all miss each other over Christmas break, but this month at home will also give us a nice rest before we continue on our second leg of this journey in Guatemala!

Thanks for reading,

Kiera & Noah
